After all, most of the books I read in my life, I got for free or a quarter. Yet they added immense value to my life. (If you watch the video, I go into more detail about that).

You are right, time is the most valuable resource!

ScottAuthor Scott Nicholsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09778999586794284457noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4129835172717195873.post-90685862253348555232012-02-23T01:44:16.622-08:002012-02-23T01:44:16.622-08:00HI Scott,

I feel exactly the same about the freebies. As an author I think it undervalues our hard work, and as a reader, as much as I enjoy freebies, I wouldn't want to read something simply because it's free. We only have so much time.Junying Kirkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06949797617629620982noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4129835172717195873.post-76659504560070932232012-02-22T13:38:53.977-08:002012-02-22T13:38:53.977-08:00LOL thanks for dropping by, David.LOL thanks for dropping by, David.Author Scott Nicholsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09778999586794284457noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4129835172717195873.post-12291920120185162572012-02-22T12:35:55.818-08:002012-02-22T12:35:55.818-08:00Great point Scott, thanks.

I freely downloaded Red Church for my Kindle and absolutely LOVED it. As a direct result, I will be pay downloading your entire library, one at a time, of course, as I read them.
Generosity marketing worked on me!
Thanks for your works!

PhilPhilhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08675866784896436053noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4129835172717195873.post-53060559533354121112012-02-22T09:18:40.639-08:002012-02-22T09:18:40.639-08:00Well said, Scott. A couple of peculiar and nasty reviews, but also some terrific reactions from readers who mentioned in their review that they did pick it up when free. Personally, I'm just glad they are reading it.

I think there is a ways left to go before things shake out enough to form dependable patterns. The new world remains exciting and fascinating.Sharper13xhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18275818335558623630noreply@blogger.com
