I read an article where nurses say that people on their death beds never wish they had spent more time at work, but often wish they had spent more time with family. I don't intend to have those regrets. I've done all kinds of work, but I've found that motherhood is the most demanding, plus the most rewarding.Brenda Wallacehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17610135913724680318noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4129835172717195873.post-37329761064633035392011-07-06T19:02:13.561-07:002011-07-06T19:02:13.561-07:00I loved your post, Cheryl. My two kids are twelve years apart, so I know every moment that the four of us spend together as a family is precious--my daughter will be away at college too soon.

Thanks!
DonnaDonnahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14645715889644855254noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4129835172717195873.post-86425034788922261652011-07-06T10:04:07.480-07:002011-07-06T10:04:07.480-07:00Thanks for sharing, Cheryl! I'm the mother of four ( ages 23, 9, 6, and 5). Three boys and my baby girl. I'm not fortunate enough to have a career (I work as a business analyst but studied art, thus, it's a job, not a career).

You articulated, quite succinctly, how passionate I am about putting motherhood above all else.

This put a huge smile on my face as I sit in this cold office, being warmed by the pictures of my best work ever - my children.

Thank you.,

JodiEldwennehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00453290065857999893noreply@blogger.com
