Edited by David Morrell and Hank Wagner, it has contributions from Sandra Brown, Steve Berry, Tess Gerritsen and more. My contribution is an essay on Jim Thompson's "The Killer Inside Me." The book was influential to me because of its unreliable narrator, blunt writing, and the literary innovation of casual violence.
